This SMS Privacy Policy explains how TM Technology Services, LLC, doing business as TM Tech, collects, uses, and protects information related to SMS and MMS text messaging. It applies to messages sent by TM Tech, CRM Customers, and authorized CRM Customers users when CRM Customers messaging services are managed by TM Tech.

Information we collect

Depending on the messaging program, we may collect and process:

• Mobile phone number
• Name, business, account, customer, or contact record information
• Message content and replies
• Opt-in, opt-out, and consent records, including source, date, time, and status
• Delivery, error, carrier, and usage metadata
• Support notes or CRM Customers activity related to the message thread

How we use SMS information

We use SMS information to:

• Send messages you requested or agreed to receive
• Provide CRM Customers features, customer service, support, and operational updates
• Manage opt-in, opt-out, HELP, and STOP requests
• Maintain records needed for compliance, security, auditing, and troubleshooting
• Protect our systems, customers, users, and message recipients

How we share SMS information

We do not sell, rent, or share SMS opt-in data or consent for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We may use contracted service providers, telecommunications providers, and hosting providers to operate CRM Customers and deliver messages on our behalf. These providers are not permitted to use SMS information for their own marketing or unrelated purposes. We may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect our rights, users, customers, systems, or message recipients.

CRM Customers messaging

When a business uses CRM Customers to send messages to its own contacts, that business is responsible for obtaining and documenting appropriate consent from message recipients and for using CRM Customers in compliance with applicable laws, carrier rules, and our agreements. We process SMS information for those customers to provide the CRM Customers messaging service.

Your choices

Retention and security

We retain SMS information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain business and compliance records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect SMS information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Relationship to our general Privacy Policy

This policy supplements our general Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict between this SMS Privacy Policy and the general Privacy Policy for SMS opt-in data or consent, this SMS Privacy Policy controls.
